Riding – There are three livery stables in the Parish. In addition, there is an active pony club and several local riding schools.

Shopping

Barnoldswick has some nice small shops and a Co-Op.
Skipton has Morrisons and Tesco supermarkets, local shops and a thriving market. Clitheroe has Boots, Tesco and Sainsburys supermarkets. There are some lovely shops and a regular market.

Harrogate is an excellent shopping centre about 40 miles’ drive away.

Eating Out

There are plenty of modern bars and bistros in the local towns as well as some delightful traditional pubs and restaurants.
